Greetings! We are a group of friends base in Hong Kong who are interested in the study of Chen Duxiu.and Chinese Trotskyist. We are glad to tell you that a website particularly for the study of Chen Duxiu has been set up. “Chen Duxiu and the Chinese Revolution Web”(www.chenstudy.com) is on line now and we have our bi-monthly magazine “bulletin” . 

In the 90s, the transformation of Soviet Union and the changes of China brought by its opening up to the outside world spurs many people to re-explore the history of both Chinese and overseas communist movements and the way out of our human society. In recent years, both Chinese and overseas scholars have been actively studying Chen Duxiu and the dissidents of Chinese communist movement, i.e. the study of propositions and activities of Chinese Trotskyist groups and its re-evaluation. The aim of our website and magazine is to sort out the historical documents, research and information about Chen Duxiu, Chinese Trotskyist movement, research studies about Chen, and review of Chinese revolution. Our effort is to let those who are interested in studying Chen will find it useful to them.   

The new website and magazine insists on academic independence and open-mindedness and will not bend to a particular party. We cordially invite everyone to contribute relevant historical materials to the website/ magazine. You are also welcome to provide us valuable advice regarding the content. Thank you.
